36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
We understand that we do not live in a perfect world. Many people are hurting and struggling, and just need to know that God cares about them. Jesus demonstrated with His life that we are to be the hands and feet that care for God’s people. At the Life Center, we try our best to be a blessing to those not just inside of the church, but also to those outside of it so that they may know God’s love for them.
To that end, we offer many opportunities for individuals to serve their fellow man in various capacities. Whether it’s mission trips to foreign countries, feeding the hungry, caring for orphans, teaching children, reaching people through the internet, or just helping people find a seat for worship service, you can find a tangible way to be a blessing to others.
If you are unsure of where to serve, you can take our spiritual gifts survey to find out where you would be the most fulfilled and effective.
